Adopting a Puppy

Purchasing a puppy
If you are serious about purchasing a puppy, you may email me with any questions. Copies of the parents' pedigrees are available upon request. The cost of a puppy is $1,100 plus the cost of shipping. (if any) There will be a $250 deposit to hold a puppy, made via Paypal or Postal Money Order. The rest of the payment will be due upon receipt of the puppy.
Your puppy package will include:
 Your puppy, of course!
AKC papers to register your puppy
One week supply of dry food that puppy is acclimated to.
5 puppy training pads....the puppy will have already started training with them.
A new toy and blanket that has been in with littermates prior to leaving. (to help lessen his/her missing littermates)
Folder of useful information on Yorkies and how to raise them.
Weekly pictures of your puppy will be emailed to you, until he/she is ready to come to your home
Health certificate and shot record from our vet
1 year health guarantee against genetic defects

Your puppy contract will be emailed as soon as an application has been approved and a deposit has been made. In addition, once you have placed a deposit on your puppy, we will start calling it by "your" chosen name, so the puppy will be familiar with you as soon as you meet him/her just by saying his/her name! ** Pedigrees available upon request. |

Shipping of Puppies:
If you are not within driving distance of an Upstate NY Thruway exit, I will fly with your puppy to an airport near your home. (for the price of a round-trip ticket from my local airport) I don't want to ship these tiny babies by themselves! Puppies must weigh a pound, or be 12 weeks old, before they are shipped. I would possibly consider letting a puppy go a little younger, if it is not a long trip.
Boy or Girl?
No matter which you choose, since it is a Yorkie - you will love it!!! A Yorkie of either sex will be a wonderful friend for many years, bringing you joy and unconditional love.
One reason a female is sometimes chosen is so that it can wear bows and can be dressed up. There is now a variety of choices of clothing and accessories for both boys and girls. In the show ring, both boys and girls wear the topknot and a bow in their hair. Most pet boutiques carry clothing for boys as well as girls, including bows, hats, neck scarves, leashes and harnesses, harness vests, shirts and coats for the boys, as well as for girls.
